Your first home football game can very overwhelming because the overflow of visitors in town, figuring out how to actually get to the game and avoiding traffic. Here are some tips to help you have a successful game day!
LEARN THE WARCHANT
Before you go to a game LEARN the war chant! You don’t want to feel left out when everyone is singing the War Chant and you are awkwardly standing there mouthing watermelon. The chant is very simple and easy to catch on to.

You can not go a football game without wearing some FSU apparel. There are TONS of places that sell the FSU gear for great prices.
Tailgating before a football game is a FSU tradition! Who can resist free BBQ & beer cozies?! One of the best tailgate spots FSU has to offer is the Jimbo Fisher Tailgate which takes place at the Seminole Organic Gardens (Near the FSU Circus). They have tons of vendors like Grub Burger Bar & Chaw serving amazing food! This tailgate happens every home game two hours before kick off.

HAVE TWO COPIES OF YOUR TICKETS.

NEVER DRIVE TO A GAME.
The best thing to do on a game day is to leave your car at home. Tallahassee traffic can get super crammed. Try using different transportation services like Uber, Lyft or even FSU buses they even run on the weekends. Most parking lots that are near the stadium charge $20-$30, so make sure you have some cash on you.

If you want your 5 minutes of fame, wear something outrageous to the game! This will give you a better chance to be seen on the Jumbo-tron.
